We take pride in every block that leaves our facility. Each order is reviewed by the Quality Control Consultant, Ron McBrayer, before leaving the Starr facility. It is our policy to exceed industry standards to provide a higher quality, more reliable test block.
Rest assured that when you place an order with us, you will receive your order in a timely manner & your blocks and accessories will be reliable and consistent. Following are some instructions to assist with the ordering process for both Rockwell and Brinell Hardness Test Blocks:
Rockwell Hardness Test Blocks:
Each line item should be separated by both the Rockwell scale and the hardness range.
Allowing for a +/-5 point range will provide you, the customer, with a hardness range you can work with and us, the calibration lab., enough room in the range to expedite your order.
(e.g. (2) Rockwell Blocks - HRC-55-65 with "C" being the Hardness Test Block Scale and "55-65" being the Range).
Brinell Hardness Test Bars:
Each line item should be separated by hardness range and any other differentiation between line items such as the load (e.g. 3000kg).
It should also be noted if the bars need to be gridded or ungridded test bars.
Providing us with your largest usable range will increase our ability to expedite your order.
(e.g. (2) Gridded Hardness Test Bars-3.9-4.1mm– 3000kg Load, with "3.9-4.1mm" being the hardness range.
If we do not have or carry what you need we will do our best to find it for you!
